1 - حدثنا الشيخ الجليل أبو جعفر محمد بن علي بن الحسين بن موسى ابن بابويه القمي (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن زياد بن جعفر الهمداني، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن أبيه إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن أحمد بن العباس والعباس ابن عمرو الفقيمي، قالا: حدثنا هشام بن الحكم، عن ثابت بن هرمز، عن الحسن بن أبي الحسن، عن أحمد بن عبد الحميد، عن عبد الله بن علي، قال: حملت متاعا من البصرة إلى مصر، فقدمتها، فبينما أنا في بعض الطريق إذا أنا بشيخ طوال (1) شديد الادمة أصلع أبيض الرأس واللحية، عليه طمران (2): أحدهما أسود، والآخر أبيض، فقلت: من هذا؟ فقالوا: هذا بلال مؤذن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله). فأخدت ألواحي وأتيته، فسلمت عليه، ثم قلت له: السلام عليك أيها الشيخ. فقال: وعليك السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته. قلت: رحمك الله، حدثني بما سمعت من رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله). قال: وما يدريك من أنا؟ فقلت: أنت بلال مؤذن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله). قال: فبكى وبكيت حتى اجتمع الناس علينا ونحن نبكي. قال: ثم قال لي: يا غلام، من أي البلاد أنت؟ قلت: من أهل العراق، فقال لي: بخ بخ. فمكث ساعة، ثم قال: اكتب يا أخا أهل العراق: بسم الله الله الرحمن الرحيم، سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: المؤذنون أمناء المؤمنين على صلواتهم وصومهم، ولحومهم ودمائهم، لا يسألون الله عز وجل شيئا إلا أعطاهم، ولا يشفعون في شئ إلا شفعوا. قلت: زدني رحمك الله. قال: اكتب: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: من أذن أربعين عاما محتسبا بعثه الله يوم القيامة وله عمل أربعين صديقا، عملا مبرورا متقبلا. قلت: زدني رحمك الله. قال: اكتب بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: من أذن عشرين عاما بعثه الله عز وجل يوم القيامة وله من النور مثل النور السماء الدنيا. قلت: زدني رحمك الله. قال: اكتب: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: من أذن عشر سنين أسكنه الله عز وجل مع إبراهيم في قبته، أو في درجته. قلت: زدني رحمك الله. قال: اكتب بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: من أذن سنة واحدة بعثه الله عز وجل يوم القيامة، وقد غفرت ذنوبه كلها بالغة ما بلغت، ولو كانت مثل زنة جبل أحد. قلت: زدني رحمك الله. قال: نعم، فاحفظ واعمل واحتسب، سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: من أذن في سبيل الله صلاة واحدة إيمانا واحتسابا وتقربا إلى الله عز وجل، غفر له ما سلف من ذنوبه، ومن عليه بالعصمة فيما بقي من عمره، وجمع بينه وبين الشهداء في الجنة. قلت: رحمك الله حدثني بأحسن ما سمعت. قال: ويحك يا غلام، قطعت أنياط قلبي، وبكى وبكيت حتى إني والله لرحمته. ثم قال: اكتب بسم الله الرحمن  الرحيم: سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: إذا كان يوم القيامة وجمع الله الناس في صعيد واحد، بعث الله عز وجل إلى المؤذنين بملائكة من نور معهم ألوية وأعلام من نور، يقودون نجائب أزمتها زبرجد أخضر، وحقائبها المسك الاذفر، ويركبها المؤذنون، فيقومون عليها قياما، تقودهم الملائكة، ينادون بأعلى أصواتهم بالاذان. ثم بكى بكاء شديدا حتى انتحبت وبكيت، فلما سكت قلت: مم بكاؤك؟ قال: ويحك ذكرتني أشياء، سمعت حبيبي وصفيي (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: والذي بعثني بالحق نبيا، إنهم ليمرون على الخلق قياما على النجائب، فيقولون: الله أكبر، الله أكبر. فإذا قالوا ذلك سمعت لامتي ضجيجا، فسأله أسامة بن زيد عن ذلك الضجيج ما هو؟ قال: الضجيج التسبيح والتحميد والتهليل، فإذا قالوا: أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، قالت أمتي: إياه كنا نعبد في الدنيا، فيقال: صدقتم. فإذا قالوا: أشهد أن محمد رسول الله. قالت: أمتي: هذا الذي أتانا برسالة ربنا جل جلاله، آمنا به ولم نره، فيقال لهم: صدقتم، هذا الذي أدى إليكم الرسالة من ربكم وكنتم به مؤمنين، فحقيق على الله أن يجمع بينكم وبين نبيكم. فينتهي بهم إلى منازلهم، وفيها ما لا عين رأت، ولا أذن سمعت، ولا خطر على قلب بشر. ثم نظر إلي فقال لي: إن استطعت - ولا قوة إلا بالله - أن لا تموت إلا مؤذنا فافعل. فقلت: رحمك الله، تفضل علي وأخبرني، فإني فقير محتاج، وأد إلي ما سمعت من رسول الله، فإنك قد رأيته ولم أره، وصف لي كيف وصف لك رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) بناء الجنة. قال: اكتب: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: إن سور الجنة لبنة من ذهب، ولبنة من فضة، ولبنة من ياقوت، وملاطها المسك الاذفر، وشرفها الياقوت الاحمر والاخضر والصفر، قلت: فما أبوابها؟ قال: أبوابها مختلفة، باب الرحمة من ياقوته حمراء. قلت: فما حلقته؟ قال: ويحك كف عني، فقد كلفتني شططا. قلت: ما أنا بكاف عنك حتى تؤدي إلي ما سمعت من رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) في ذلك.  قال: اكتب: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، أما باب الصبر فباب صغير، له مصراع واحد من ياقوتة حمراء لا حلق له، وأما باب الشكر فإنه من ياقوتة بيضاء لها مصراعان، مسيرة ما بينهما خمسمائة عام، له ضجيج وحنين، يقول: اللهم جئني بأهلي. قلت: هل يتكلم الباب! قال: نعم ينطقه ذو الجلال والاكرام. وأما باب البلاء، قلت: أليس باب البلاء هو باب الصبر؟ قال: لا قلت: فما البلاء؟ قال: المصائب والاسقام والامراض والجذام، وهو باب من ياقوتة صفراء، له مصراع واحد، ما أقل من يدخل منه! قلت: رحمك الله، زدني وتفضل علي فإني فقير. قال: يا غلام لقد كلفتني شططا، أما الباب الاعظم فيدخل منه العباد الصالحون، وهم أهل الزهد والورع والراغبون إلى الله عز وجل المستأنسون به. قلت: رحمك الله، فإذا دخلوا الجنة ماذا يصنعون؟ قال: يسيرون على نهرين في مصاف في سفن الياقوت، مجاذيفها اللولؤ، فيها ملائكة من نور، عليهم ثياب خضر شديدة خضرتها. قلت: رحمك الله، هل يكون من النور أخضر؟ قال: إن الثياب هي خضر، ولكن فيها نور من نور رب العالمين جل جلاله، يسيرون على حافتي ذلك النهر. قلت: فما اسم ذلك النهر؟ قال: جنة المأوى. قلته: هل وسطها غير هذا؟ قال: نعم، جنة عدن، وهي في وسط الجنان، فأما جنة عدن فسورها ياقوت أحمر، وحصباؤها اللؤلؤ. قلت: فهل فيها غيرها؟ قال: نعم، جنة الفردوس. قلت: وكيف سورها؟ قال: ويحك. كف عني، قد حيرت علي قلبي. قلت: بل أنت الفاعل بي ذلك، ما أنا بكاف عنك حتى تتم لي الصفة وتخبرني عن سورها. قال: سورها نور. فقلت: والغرف التي هي فيها؟ قال: هي من نور رب العالمين. قلت: زدني  رحمك الله. قال: ويحك، إلى هذا انتهى إلي نبأ (1) رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله)، طوبى لك إن أنت وصلت إلى بعض هذه الصفة، وطوبى لمن يؤمن بهذا. قلت: يرحمك الله، أنا والله من المؤمنين بهذا. قال: ويحك، إنه من يؤمن أو يصدق بهذا الحق والمنهاج، لم يرغب في الدنيا، ولا في زهرتها (2)، وحاسب نفسه قلت: أنا مؤمن بهذا. قال: صدقت، ولكن قارب وسدد ولا تيأس، واعمل ولا تفرط، وارج وخف واحذر. ثم بكى وشهق ثلاث شهقات، فظننا أنه قد مات. ثم قال: فداكم أبي وأمي، لو رأكم محمد (صلى الله عليه وآله) لقرت عينه حين تسألون عن هذه الصفة، ثم قال: النجا النجا، الوحا (3) الوحاء الرحيل الرحيل، العمل العمل، وأياكم والتفريط. ثم قال: ويحكم، اجعلوني في حل مما فرطت. فقلت له: أنت في حل مما فرطت، جزاك الله الجنة كما أديت وفعلت الذي يجب عليك. ثم ودعني، وقال لي: اتق الله، وأد إلى أمة محمد (صلى الله عليه وآله) ما أديت إليك، فقلت: أفعل إن شاء الله. قال: استودع الله دينك وأمانتك، وزودك التقوى، وأعانك على طاعته بمشيئته (4).

Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (ra) narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Ziyad b. Ja`far al-Hamadani narrated to us. He said: Ali b. Ibrahim b. Hashim narrated to us from his father Ibrahim b. Hashim from Ahmad b. al-`Abbas and al-`Abbas b. `Amr al-Faqimi. They said: Hisham b. al-Hakam narrated to us from Thabit b. Harmaz from al-Hasan b. Abi'l Hasan from Ahmad b. `Abd al-Hamid from `Abdullah b. `Ali. He said: I carried belongings from Basra to Egypt and I placed it [there]. In one of the paths, I came across a tall elderly man who was very dark, bald, with white hair and a white beard, wearing two gowns – one white and the other black. So, I said: Who is this? So, they said:  This is Bilal, the mu'adhin of the Messenger of Allah (s). So, I took my tablets and gave them to him. I greeted him, then I said: Peace be unto you, O shaykh. So, Bilal said: And also with you. I said: May Allah bestow His mercy upon you. Narrate to me that which you have heard from the Messenger of Allah (s). So, Bilal said: Do you know who I am? He said: You are Bilal, the mu’adhin of the Messenger of Allah (s). So, Bilal and the man wept, until the people came to them and joined them in weeping. Then, he said: O boy! What country are you from? I said: I am from the people of Iraq. He said: Wow.  Then, he was silent for a moment. Then, he said: Write, O Iraqi brother. In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “The mu’adhins are the trustees of the believers over their prayers, their fasting, their flesh and their blood. They do not ask a thing of Allah except that He grants it to them, nor do they intercede in a thing except that their intercession is accepted.” I said: Tell me more, may Allah grant you mercy. He said: Write, in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “Whomever sincerely gives adhan for forty years, Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection with the righteous and accepted deeds of forty saints.” I said: Tell me more, may Allah grant you mercy. He said: Write, in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. I head the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “Whomever gives adhan for twenty years, Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection with a light like that of the sky.” I said: Tell me more, may Allah grant you mercy. He said: Write, in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. I head the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “Whomever gives adhan for ten years, Allah will have him reside with Ibrahim the Friend (as) in his dome, or in his rank.” I said: Tell me more, may Allah grant you mercy. He said: Write, in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “Whomever gives adhan for one year, Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection with all of his sins forgiven, even if they were the size of Mount Uhud.” I said: Tell me more, may Allah grant you mercy. He said: Yes, so memorize, and do, and be sincere. I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “Whomever gives adhan for one prayer for the sake of Allah and to attain the nearness of Allah in faith and sincerity, Allah will forgive all of his past deeds, and He will grant him protection in what remains of his life, and He will gather him with the martyrs in Paradise.” I said: Tell me more, may Allah grant you mercy. He said: Beware, O boy! You have broken my heart. He wept and I wept Then, he said Write, in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will gather the people upon one plane. Then, Allah will send angels of light to the mu’adhins. With them will be standards and banners of light. They will come forth on riding animals – their front will be of green aquamarine, and their sacks will be of strong musk. The mu’adhins will ride them, and they will stand on them as they are led by the angels. They will call the adhan at the top of their voice. Then, he wept heavily until I sobbed and wept. When he went quiet, I said: What are you crying about? He said: Woe to you – you reminded me of things. I heard my beloved and my elite one (s) say: “By He who raised me in truth as a prophet! They will pass by the creation, standing on their animals, saying: ‘Allah is the Greatest! Allah is the Greatest!’ When they say that, I will hear my Nation noising about.” So, Usama b. Zayd asked about this noising about – what is it? He said: “Noising about is glorification, praise, and saying ‘la ilaha illallah’. When they say: ‘I bear witness that there is no god but Allah’, my Nation will say: ‘He is the one that we would worship in this world.’ So, it will be said: ‘You have spoken the truth.’ When they say: ‘I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah’, my Nation will say: ‘This is the one who came to us with the message of our Lord. We believed in him without seeing him.’ So, it will be said to them: ‘You have spoken the truth. This is the one who brought the message of your Lord to you; so, you became believers in him. It is a right upon Allah that He gathers you with your Prophet, so that he may take them to their houses [in Paradise], in which there is that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no heart has imagined.’” Then, he looked to me and said to me: If you are able – and there is no power except by Allah – to become a mu'adhin before you die, then do so. So, I said: May Allah have mercy on you! Grace me and inform me, for I am poor and needy. Give me what you have heard from the Messenger of Allah, for you have seen him and I have not seen him. Describe to me what the Messenger of Allah (s) described to you of the buildings of Paradise. He said: Write, in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “The fences of Paradise are made of gold, silver, and ruby. Its mortar is of musk and its embellishments are of red, green, and yellow sapphire.” I said: What about its gates? He said: Its gates are different. The Gate of Mercy is of red sapphire. I said: What about its door pulls? He said: Woe to you, leave me, for I have given you excess. I said: I will not leave you until you give me what you heard from the Messenger of Allah (s) regarding that. He said: Write, in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. As for the Gate of Patience, it is a small gate with a single door, which is of red sapphire, and it has no door pull. As for the Gate of Thanks, it is of white sapphire, it has two gates – between which is a journey of five hundred years – and it noises its yearning, saying: “O Allah! Bring me my people.” I said: Do gates talk?! He said: Yes. The Majestic and Noble will give them the power of speech. As for the Gate of Calamity—. I said: Isn't the Gate of Calamity the same as the Gate of Patience? He said: No. I said: Then what is calamity? He said: Adversity, illnesses, diseases, and leprosy. It is a gate of yellow sapphire and it has one door. How few are those who will enter through it! I said: May Allah have mercy on you. Tell me more and grace me, for I am poor. He said: O boy! I have given you excess. As for the Greatest Gate, the righteous servants will enter through it – and they are the people of asceticism, piety, and those who desire for Allah and seek harmony in Him. I said: May Allah have mercy on you. When they enter Paradise, what will they do? He said: They will traverse two rivers in rows on boats of sapphire and paddles of pearl. In them will be angels of light with very green garments. I said: May Allah have mercy on you. Is there such a thing as green light? He said: The garments themselves are green, but therein is light from the light of the Lord of the Worlds. They will walk on both sides of that river. I said: What is the name of that river? He said: The Paradise of Safety. I said: Are there any others? He said: Yes – the Paradise of Eden, which is in the middle of Paradise. As for the Paradise of Eden, its fence is of red sapphire, and its gravel is pearl. I said: Are there any others? He said: Yes – the Paradise of Heaven. I said: What is its fence like? He said: Woe to you, leave me, for you have troubled my heart. I said: Rather, you have done that to me. I will not leave you until you compete the description for me and inform me of its fence. He said: Its fence is light. So, I said: What about its rooms? He said: They are from the light of the Lord of the Worlds. I said: Tell me more, may Allah have mercy on you. He said: Woe to you. It is up to this point that the Messenger of Allah (s) has left us with. Blessed are you, for you have attained some of this description; and blessed is whoever that believes in this. I said: May Allah have mercy on you. I, by Allah, am from the believers of this. He said: Woe to you. Whoever believes or approves of this truth and path, he will not desire this world or its frills; and he will hold himself to account. I said: I am a believer in that. He said: You have spoken the truth; but get closer and stay on target. Do not despair. Do, but do not overburden yourself. Have hope, be fearful, and be careful. Then, he wept and inhaled thrice. We thought that he had died. Then, he said: May my mother and father be sacrificed for you! Had Muhammad (s) seen you, his eye would have filled with joy when he saw you ask about this description.  Then, he said: Hurry, hurry, work, work, and beware of overburdening yourself. Then, he said: Woe to you. Let me be in this undone state. So, I said to him: You are in an undone state. May Allah reward you with Paradise, as you have done what you have been obliged to do. Then, he bid me farewell, and said to me: Fear Allah, and give to the Nation of Muhammad (s) what I have given you. So, I said: I will do so, God-willingly. He said: May Allah maintain your religion, increase you in piety, and assist you in obeying Him by His will.

2 - حدثنا أبي (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن جعفر الحميري، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن جميل بن صالح، عن الحارث بن المغيرة النصري، عن أبي عبد الله الصادق (عليه السلام)، قال: من سمع المؤذن يقول: أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأشهد أن محمدا رسول الله، فقال: مصدقا محتسبا: وأنا أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأن محمدا رسول الله، اكتفي بها عن كل من أبى وجحد، وأعين  بها كل من أقر وشهد، كان له من الاجر عدد من أنكر وجحد، وعدد من أقر وشهد (1).

قال

My father (ra) narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. Ja`far al-Himyari narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from al-Hasan b. Mahbub from Jamil b. Salih from al-Harith b. al-Mughira al-Nasri from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq (as). He said: Whoever hears the mu’adhin say “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” and says, in confirmation and expectation, “And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, it will be sufficient for him against all who reject and deny, and it will assist anyone who believes and testifies to it. He will receive a reward for every person who rejects, denies, believes, and testifies.

3 - حدثنا أحمد بن زياد بن جعفر الهمداني (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن سلمة الاهوازي، عن إبراهيم بن محمد الثقفي، قال: حدثنا العباس بن بكار، قال: حدثنا عبد الواحد بن أبي عمرو، عن الكلبي، عن أبي صالح، عن أبي هريرة، عن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله)، قال: مكتوب على العرش: أنا الله لا إله إلا أنا، وحدي لا شريك لي، ومحمد عبدي ورسولي، أيدته بعلي. فأنزل الله عز وجل (هو الذي أيدك بنصره وبالمؤمنين) (2) فكان النصر عليا (عليه السلام)، ودخل مع المؤمنين، فدخل في الوجهين جميعا (صلى الله عليه) (3).

Ahmad b. Ziyad b. Ja`far al-Hamadani (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim b. Hashim narrated to us. He said: Ja`far b. Salama al-Azhari narrated to us from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: al-`Abbas b. Bakkar narrated to us. He said: `Abd al-Wahid b. Abi `Amr narrated to us from al-Kalbi from Abi Salih from Abi Hurayra from the Messenger of Allah (s). He said: On the Throne, it is written: “I am Allah. There is no god but Me. I am Alone without any partners. Muhammad is My Servant and My Messenger, and I have aided him with `Ali.” So, Allah revealed, “It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers.” (8:62) The “help” is `Ali (as), who [also] entered among the believers; so, he (as) is on both sides together.

4 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن علي بن الحكم، عن عامر بن معقل، عن أبي حمزة الثمالي، عن أبي جعفر (عليه السلام)، قال: قال لي: يا أبا حمزة، لا تضعوا عليا دون ما وضعه الله، ولا ترفعوا عليا فوق ما رفعه الله، كفى بعلي أن يقاتل أهل الكرة، وأن يزوج أهل الجنة (4).

قال قال لي

Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from `Ali b. al-Hakam from `Amer b. Mu`aqqal from Abi Hamza al-Thumali from Abi Ja`far (as). He said: He said to me: O Aba Hamza! Do not place `Ali lower than where Allah has placed him, and do not raise `Ali higher than where Allah has placed him. It is enough that `Ali fights the people of the globe and that he brings the people of Paradise together.

5 - حدثنا أبي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن الحسن المؤدب، عن أحمد بن علي الاصبهاني، عن إبراهيم بن محمد الثقفي، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن موسى ابن أخت الواقدي شيخ من الانصار، قال: حدثنا أبو قتادة الحراني، عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي العلاء (5) الحضرمي، عن سعيد بن المسيب، عن أبي الحمراء، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): رأيت ليلة الاسراء مكتوبا على قائمة من قوائم العرش: أنا الله، لا إله إلا أنا، خلقت جنة عدن بيدي، محمد صفوتي من خلقي، أيدته  بعلي، ونصرته بعلي (1).

قال قال

My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. al-Hasan al-Mu’addab narrated to us from Ahmad b. `Ali al-Isfahani from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: Ibrahim b. Musa the son of the sister of al-Waqidi, a shaykh of the Ansar. He said: Abu Qutada al-Harrani narrated to us from `Abd al-Rahman b. Abi’l `Ala’ al-Hadrami from Sa`id b. al-Musayyib from Abi’l Hamra’. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: On the night of the Night Journey, I saw [the following] written on a pillar of the Throne: “I am Allah. There is no god but Me. I created the Paradise of Eden with My two hands. Muhammad is My elite one from My creation, and I have aided him with `Ali, and I have supported him with `Ali.”

6 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا الحسين بن الحسن بن أبان، عن الحسين بن سعيد، عن ابن أبي عمير، عن حماد بن عثمان، عن إسماعيل الجعفي: أنه سمع أبا جعفر الباقر (عليه السلام): يقول: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): أعطيت خمسا لم يعطها أحد قبلي: جعلت لي الارض مسجدا وطهورا، وأحل لي المغنم، ونصرت بالرعب، وأعطيت جوامع الكلم، وأعطيت الشفاعة (2).

أبا جعفر عليه السلام

يقول قال

Muhammad b. al-Hasan (rh) narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. al-Hasan b. Aban narrated to us from al-Husayn b. Sa`id from Ibn Abi `Umayr from Hammad b. `Uthman from Isma`il al-Ju`fi. He heard Aba Ja`far al-Baqir (as) say: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: I have been given five things that were not given to anyone before me: (1) The Earth has been made a pure place of prostration (masjid) for me, (2) spoils have been permitted to me, (3) I have been supported by fear, (4) I have been given comprehensive language (jawami` al-kalim), and (5) I have been granted the ability to intercede.

7 - حدثنا أبي ومحمد بن الحسن (رحمهما الله)، قالا: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن موسى بن القاسم البجلي، عن جعفر بن محمد بن سماعة، عن عبد الله بن مسكان، عن الحكم بن الصلت، عن أبي جعفر الباقر، عن آبائه (عليهما السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): خذوا بحجزة (3) هذا الانزاع - يعني عليا - فإنه الصديق الاكبر، وهو الفاروق يفرق بين الحق والباطل، من أحبه هداه الله، ومن أبغضه أبغضه الله، ومن تخلف عنه محقه الله، ومنه سبطا أمتي الحسن والحسين، وهما ابناي، ومن الحسين أئمة هداة: أعطاهم الله علمي وفهمي، فتولوهم ولا تتخذوا وليجة (4) من دونهم فيحل عليكم غضب من ربكم، ومن يحلل عليه غضب من ربه فقد هوى، وما الحياة الدنيا إلا متاع الغرور (5).

عن آبائه ع قال قال

My father and Muhammad b. al-Hasan (rh) narrated to us. They said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from Musa b. al-Qasim al-Bajali from Ja`far b. Muhammad b. Sama`a from `Abdullah b. Muskan from al-Hakam b. al-Salt from Abi Ja`far al-Baqir from his forefathers (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Take to the belt of this bald man (anza`, literally “removed” – in one narration, removed of polytheism) – meaning `Ali – for he is the Great Saint (al-siddiq al-akbar) and the distinguisher (al-faruq) who will distinguish between truth and falsehood. Allah will guide whoever loves him; and Allah will hate whoever hates him. Allah will destroy whoever strays from him. From him are the descendants of my Nation – al-Hasan and al-Husayn – they are my two sons. From al-Husayn are the Imams of Guidance. Allah has given them my knowledge and my understanding. So, align with them, and do not take on masters in lieu of them, or else the anger of your Lord will be permitted to you; whoever has the anger of his Lord permitted to him, He will destroy him – and what is the life of this world except a deceptive pleasure?
