1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ره جَمِيعاً عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ خَارِجَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ النِّصْفُ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ نَادَى مُنَادٍ مِنَ الْأُفُقِ الْأَعْلَى زَائِرِي الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) ارْجِعُوا مَغْفُوراً لَكُمْ ثَوَابُكُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّكُمْ وَ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّكُمْ

1. My father, ‘Ali ibn Ĥusain, and Muĥammad ibn Ya’qūb all narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ibrāhǐm ibn Hāshim, from his father, from some of his companions, from Hārūn ibn Khārijah, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: On the fifteenth of Sha’bān, a caller calls out from the highest horizon: O those who have come to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.)! Return forgiven and your rewards will be given (to you) by Allāh, your Lord, and by Muĥammad (s.a.a.w.), your Prophet.

2 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الزَّيْتُونِيِّ وَ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ ره عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) وَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) قَالا قَالا مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُصَافِحَهُ مِائَةُ أَلْفِ نَبِيٍّ وَ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَ عِشْرُونَ أَلْفَ نَبِيٍّ فَلْيَزُرْ قَبْرَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ (ع) فِي النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ فَإِنَّ أَرْوَاحَ النَّبِيِّينَ (ع) يَسْتَأْذِنُونَ اللَّهَ فِي زِيَارَتِهِ فَيُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ مِنْهُمْ خَمْسَةٌ أُولُوا الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ قُلْنَا مَنْ هُمْ قَالَ نُوحٌ وَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَ مُوسَى وَ عِيسَى وَ مُحَمَّدٌ (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ) قُلْنَا لَهُ مَا مَعْنَى أُولِي الْعَزْمِ قَالَ بُعِثُوا إِلَى شَرْقِ الْأَرْضِ وَ غَرْبِهَا جِنِّهَا وَ إِنْسِهَا

2. My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Ĥasan ibn ‘Ali Al-Zaytūni, and from others, from Aĥmad ibn Hilāl, from Ĥasan ibn Maĥbūb, from Abǐ Ĥamzah, who said: ‘Ali ibn Ĥusain (Imam Sajjād (a.s.)) said: Those who would like one hundred and twenty-four thousand prophets to shake their hand, should go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Abǐ ‘Abdillāh, Ĥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.), on the fifteenth of Sha’bān. Verily the souls of the prophets (a.s.), including the five ULUL ‘AZM Messengers, ask permission from Allāh (on that day) to go to his Ziyārah and they will be granted permission. We asked, “Who are the five Ulul ‘Azm (prophets)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Nūĥ, Ibrāhǐm, Mūsā, ‘Isā (a.s.), and Muĥammad (s.a.a.w.).” We asked, “What does Ulul ‘Azm mean?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “They (are the prophets who) were sent to the east and the west of the earth and to (all of) Jinn and mankind.” The above Ĥadǐth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: My father and all of my scholars, from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Ĥasan ibn ‘Ali Al-Zaytūni, and from others, from Aĥmad ibn Hilāl, from Muĥammad ibn Abǐ ‘Umayr, from Ĥammād ibn ‘Uthmān, from Abǐ Bašǐr, from Abǐ ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)).

3 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ خَارِجَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ النِّصْفُ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ نَادَى مُنَادٍ مِنَ الْأُفُقِ الْأَعْلَى زَائِرِي الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) ارْجِعُوا مَغْفُوراً لَكُمْ ثَوَابُكُمْ عَلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّكُمْ

My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Muĥammad ibn Yaĥyā Al-‘Aťťār, from Muĥammad ibn Ĥusain, from Ibrāhǐm ibn Hāshim, from Šandal, from Hārūn ibn Khārijah, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: On the fifteenth of Sha’bān, a caller calls out from the highest horizon: O those who have come to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.)! 4 وَ رَوَاهُ صَافِي الْبَرْقِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ مَنْ زَارَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) ثَلَاثَ سِنِينَ مُتَوَالِيَاتٍ لَا فَصْلَ فِيهَا فِي النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ غُفِرَ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ

4. Šāfi Al-Barqi narrated that: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (s.a.a.w.)) said: The sins of those who go to the Ziyārah of Abǐ ‘Abdillāh (Imam Ĥusain (a.s.)) on the fifteenth of Sha’bān for three consecutive years without a break will be forgiven.

5 وَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ الرَّقِّيِّ قَالَ قَالَ الْبَاقِرُ (ع) زَائِرُ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فِي النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَ لَنْ يُكْتَبَ عَلَيْهِ سَيِّئَةٌ فِي سَنَةٍ حَتَّى يَحُولَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ فَإِنْ زَارَ فِي السَّنَةِ الْمُقْبِلَةِ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ذُنُوبَهُ

5. My father narrated to me through his Isnād from Dāwūd ibn Kuthayr Al-Raqqi, who said: Imam Bāqir (a.s.) said: The sins of those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the fifteenth of Sha’bān will be forgiven and no bad deeds will be registered for them in that year. And if they go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) again (on the fifteenth of Sha’bān of) the next year, Allāh will forgive all of their sins.

6 حَدَّثَنِي جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْعَطَّارِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَارَةَ الْمَدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ اسْمُهُ 3 الْحُسَيْنُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) لَيْلَةً مِنْ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَ مَا تَأَخَّرَ قَالَ قُلْتُ أَيَّ اللَّيَالِي جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ قَالَ لَيْلَةَ الْفِطْرِ وَ لَيْلَةَ الْأَضْحَى وَ لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ

6. All of my scholars narrated to me from Muĥammad ibn Yaĥyā Al-‘Aťťār, from Ĥusain ibn Abǐ Sārah Al-Madā`ini, from Ya’qūb ibn Yazǐd, from Ibn Abǐ ‘Umayr, from ‘Abdil Raĥmān ibn Ĥajjāj, or from someone else named Ĥusain, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Allāh will forgive all of the past and future sins of those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.) on one of three nights. I asked, “May I sacrifice myself for you! What are the three nights?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “The night of Fiťr, the night of Aďĥā, and the night of the fifteenth of Sha’bān.”

7 وَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْن وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) مَنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ وَ لَيْلَةَ الْفِطْرِ وَ لَيْلَةَ عَرَفَةَ فِي سَنَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَلْفَ حِجَّةٍ مَبْرُورَةٍ وَ أَلْفَ عُمْرَةٍ مُتَقَبَّلَةٍ وَ قُضِيَتْ لَهُ أَلْفُ حَاجَةٍ مِنْ حَوَائِجِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

7. My father, ‘Ali ibn Ĥusain and all of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aĥmad ibn Muĥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Muĥammad ibn Khālid, from Qāsim ibn Yaĥyā, from his grandfather Ĥasan ibn Rāshid, from Yūnus ibn Żabyān, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Allāh will register one thousand purified Hajj and one thousand accepted ‘Umrah and will grant one thousand requests pertaining to this life and the Hereafter for those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the night of the fifteenth of Sha’bān, on the night of Fiťr, and on the night of ‘Arafah all in the same year.

8 سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ مَنْ بَاتَ لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ بِأَرْضِ كَرْبَلَاءَ فَقَرَأَ أَلْفَ مَرَّةٍ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَ يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ أَلْفَ مَرَّةٍ وَ يَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ أَلْفَ مَرَّةٍ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ يَقْرَأُ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ أَلْفَ مَرَّةٍ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ وَكَّلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بِهِ مَلَكَيْنِ يَحْفَظَانِهِ مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَ سُلْطَانٍ وَ يَكْتُبَانِ لَهُ حَسَنَاتِهِ وَ لَا تُكْتَبُ عَلَيْهِ سَيِّئَةٌ وَ يَسْتَغْفِرَانِ لَهُ مَا دَامَا مَعَهُ [مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ]

8. Sālim ibn ‘Abdil Raĥmān narrated that: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Allāh will dedicate two angels to those who spend the night of the fifteenth of Sha’bān in Karbalā and who do the following: Recite (the chapter of) “Qul Huwa Allāh” one thousand times, seek forgiveness from Allāh one thousand times, praise Allāh one thousand times, and then establish four Rak’ah of Šalāt by reciting “Āyatul Kursǐ” one thousand times in each Rak’ah (after reciting Chapter Al-Ĥamd). The two angels will protect them from any harm and from the evil of every Shayťān and every ruler. They will only register their good deeds and no bad deeds will be registered for them. The two angels will (continuously) seek forgiveness for them as long as they are with them.

9 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فِي النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَ مَا تَأَخَّرَ

9. Muĥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ĥimyari narrated to me from his father, from Ya’qūb ibn Yazǐd, from Muĥammad ibn Abǐ ‘Umayr, from Zayd Al-Shaĥĥām, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Allāh will forgive all of the past and future sins of those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the fifteenth of Sha’bān.

10 حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) يَا يُونُسُ لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ مَنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِمْ وَ مَا تَأَخَّرَ وَ قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْتَقْبِلُوا الْعَمَلَ قَالَ قُلْتُ هَذَا كُلُّهُ لِمَنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) فِي النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ فَقَالَ يَا يُونُسُ لَوْ أَخْبَرْتُ النَّاسَ بِمَا فِيهَا لِمَنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ ع لَقَامَتْ ذُكُورُ الرِّجَالِ عَلَى الْخُشُبِ

10. Abū ‘Abdillāh Muĥammad ibn Aĥmad ibn Ya’qūb ibn Isĥāq ibn ‘Ammār narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ĥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Faďďāl, from Muĥammad ibn Walǐd, from Yūnus ibn Ya’qūb, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: O Yūnus! Allāh will forgive all of the past and future sins of the believers who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the night of the fifteenth of Sha’bān and they will be told, “Go toward (committing) good deeds.” I said, “All of this (will be registered) for those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the fifteenth of Sha’bān?!” Imam (a.s.) replied, “O Yūnus! If I tell people about that which will be given to those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on this night, they would travel riding on wood (placed on the back of saddleless camels) to go to him.”

11 حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ (ع) قَالَ مَنْ زَارَ [قَبْرَ] الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ- غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ وَ مَا تَأَخَّرَ وَ مَنْ زَارَهُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ثَوَابَ أَلْفِ حِجَّةٍ مُتَقَبَّلَةٍ وَ أَلْفِ عُمْرَةٍ مَبْرُورَةٍ وَ مَنْ زَارَهُ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ فَكَأَنَّمَا زَارَ اللَّهَ [فِي] فَوْقَ عَرْشِهِ

11. Ja’far ibn Muĥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Mūsā narrated to me from ‘Ubaydillāh ibn Nahǐk, from Ibn Abǐ ‘Umayr, from Zayd Al-Shaĥĥām, who said: Ja’far ibn Muĥammad (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Allāh will forgive the past and future sins of those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the night of the fifteenth of Sha’bān. Allāh will register the reward of one thousand accepted Hajj and one thousand purified ‘Umrah for those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the Day of ‘Arafah. Those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the Day of ‘Āshūrā, it is as if they have gone to the Ziyārah of Allāh on top of His Throne.
