1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْعَطَّارِ وَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ جَمِيعاً عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ مُرُوا شِيعَتَنَا بِزِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَإِنَّ إِتْيَانَهُ يَزِيدُ فِي الرِّزْقِ وَ يَمُدُّ فِي الْعُمُرِ وَ يَدْفَعُ مَدَافِعَ السَّوْءِ وَ إِتْيَانَهُ مُفْتَرَضٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ يُقِرُّ لِلْحُسَيْنِ بِالْإِمَامَةِ مِنَ اللَّهِ

1. My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, and from Muĥammad ibn Yaĥyā Al-‘Aťťār, and from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ĥimyari, from Aĥmad ibn Muĥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Muĥammad ibn Ismā’ǐl ibn Bazǐ’, from Abǐ Ayyūb (Al-Khazzāz), from Muĥammad ibn Muslim, who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: Order our Shia to go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.). Verily going to his Ziyārah increases sustenance, prolongs life, and keeps afflictions away. Verily going to his Ziyārah is obligatory on every believer who believes that Ĥusain (a.s.) is an Imam appointed by Allāh, the Great and Almighty.

2 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْنَاهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِ حَوْلٌ لَمْ يَأْتِ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) أَنْقَصَ [نَقَصَ اللَّهُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ حَوْلًا وَ لَوْ قُلْتُ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَمُوتُ قَبْلَ أَجَلِهِ بِثَلَاثِينَ سَنَةً لَكُنْتُ صَادِقاً وَ ذَلِكَ لِأَنَّكُمْ تَتْرُكُونَ زِيَارَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَلَا تَدَعُوا زِيَارَتَهُ- يَمُدُّ اللَّهُ فِي أَعْمَارِكُمْ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي أَرْزَاقِكُمْ وَ إِذَا تَرَكْتُمْ زِيَارَتَهُ نَقَصَ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَعْمَارِكُمْ وَ أَرْزَاقِكُمْ فَتَنَافَسُوا فِي زِيَارَتِهِ وَ لَا تَدَعُوا ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّ الْحُسَيْنَ شَاهِدٌ لَكُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِهِ وَ عِنْدَ فَاطِمَةَ وَ عِنْدَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

2. Muĥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh Al-Ĥimyari narrated to me from his father, from Muĥammad ibn ‘Abdil Ĥamǐd, from Sayf ibn ‘Amǐrah, from Manšūr ibn Ĥāzim, who said: We heard him (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) say: If one (full) year passes and one does not go to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.), one year from his life will be reduced by Allāh. If I tell you that some of you die thirty years before your (destined) time of death, I have said the truth and this is because you (people) ignore going to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.). So do not neglect going to his Ziyārah, for Allāh will prolong your lives and increase your sustenance. However, if you ignore his Ziyārah, Allāh will shorten your lives and reduce your sustenance. Compete with one another in going to his Ziyārah and do not neglect it. Verily Ĥusain (a.s.) will testify on your behalf regarding this (matter) to Allāh, His Messenger (s.a.a.w.), Fāťimah (s.a.), and the Commander of the Believers (a.s.).

3 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَضَّاحٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ الْحَمَّارِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَزُرْ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَقَدْ حُرِمَ خَيْراً كَثِيراً وَ نُقِصَ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ سَنَةٌ

3. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aĥmad ibn Muĥammad, from Muĥammad ibn Ismā’ǐl, from someone who narrated to him, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Waďďāĥ, from Dāwūd Al-Ĥammār, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Those who do not go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.) will be deprived of many great blessings and one year will be reduced from their lifespan.

4 حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ صَبَّاحٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ زُورُوا الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) وَ لَوْ كُلَّ سَنَةٍ فَإِنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ أَتَاهُ عَارِفاً بِحَقِّهِ غَيْرَ جَاحِدٍ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ عِوَضٌ غَيْرُ الْجَنَّةِ وَ رُزِقَ رِزْقاً وَاسِعاً وَ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مَنْ قِبَلَهُ بِفَرَحٍ [بِفَرَجٍ] عَاجِلٍ وَ ذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَ حَدَّثَنِي جَمَاعَةُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً

4. Ĥasan ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Muĥammad narrated to me from his father, from Ĥasan ibn Maĥbūb, from Šabbāĥ Al-Ĥadhā, from Muĥammad ibn Marwān, who said: I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) say: Go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) even if it is (only) once a year. Verily anyone, who goes to him knowing his rights and without denying (his status), will be recompensed with Paradise, with abundant increase of his sustenance, and with immediate happiness which will be brought to him by Allāh. The above Ĥadǐth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: A group of our companions, from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Muĥammad ibn Ĥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Ĥasan ibn Maĥbūb, from Šabbāĥ Al-Ĥadhā, from Muĥammad ibn Marwān, from Abǐ ‘Abdillāh (a.s.).

5 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ره وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي ره عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْخَثْعَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ لِي يَا عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ لَا تَدَعْ زِيَارَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ (ع) وَ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ بِذَلِكَ يَمُدُّ اللَّهُ فِي عُمُرِكَ وَ يَزِيدُ اللَّهُ فِي رِزْقِكَ وَ يُحْيِيكَ اللَّهُ سَعِيداً وَ لَا تَمُوتُ إِلَّا سَعِيداً [شَهِيداً] وَ يَكْتُبُكَ سَعِيداً

5. My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aĥmad ibn Muĥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Aĥmad ibn Muĥamamd ibn Abǐ Našr, from some of our companions, from Abān, from ‘Abdil Malik Al-Khath’ami, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said to me: O ‘Abd Al-Malik! Do not neglect going to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) and order your friends to go to his Ziyārah, (because by going to his Ziyārah) Allāh will prolong your life, increase your sustenance, allow you to live a life of bliss and die a blissful death, as well as register you among the blissful ones.
