1 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ فِي كِتَابِ الْجَامِعِ يَرْوِي عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) قَالَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تُوَدِّعَ قَبْرَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (ع) فَقُلِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ أَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللَّهَ وَ أَسْتَرْعِيكَ وَ أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ- آمَنَّا [إِيمَاناً] بِاللَّهِ وَ بِالرَّسُولِ [بِالرُّسُلِ وَ بِمَا جَاءَتْ بِهِ وَ دَعَتْ إِلَيْهِ وَ دَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ- فَاكْتُبْنا مَعَ الشّاهِدِينَ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِي إِيَّاهُ فَإِنْ تَوَفَّيْتَنِي قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنِّي أَشْهَدُ فِي مَمَاتِي عَلَى مَا كُنْتُ [شَهِدْتُ] عَلَيْهِ فِي حَيَاتِي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكُمُ الْأَئِمَّةُ- وَ تُسَمِّيهِمْ وَاحِداً بَعْدَ وَاحِدٍ وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ وَ حَارَبَهُمْ مُشْرِكُونَ وَ مَنْ رَدَّ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ رَدَّ عِلْمَهُمْ فِي أَسْفَلِ دَرْكٍ مِنَ الْجَحِيمِ وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مَنْ حَارَبَهُمْ لَنَا أَعْدَاءٌ وَ نَحْنُ مِنْهُمْ بَرَاءٌ وَ أَنَّهُمْ حِزْبُ الشَّيْطَانِ وَ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ لَعْنَةُ اللّهِ وَ الْمَلائِكَةِ وَ النّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ وَ مَنْ شَرِكَ فِيهِمْ وَ مَنْ سَرَّهُ قَتْلُهُمْ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ وَ التَّسْلِيمِ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِهِ فَإِنْ جَعَلْتَهُ فَاحْشُرْنِي مَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْمُسَمَّيْنَ الْأَئِمَّةِ اللَّهُمَّ وَ ذَلِّلْ قُلُوبَنَا لَهُمْ بِالطَّاعَةِ- وَ الْمُنَاصَحَةِ وَ الْمَحَبَّةِ وَ حُسْنِ الْمُوَازَرَةِ

1. Muĥammad ibn Ĥasan ibn Aĥmad ibn Walǐd narrated in his book, Al-Jāmi’, that: Abul Ĥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) said: When you want to bid farewell to the grave of the Commander of the Believers (a.s.), recite (the following):                         Salām to you and (may) Allāh’s Mercy and Blessings be upon you. I entrust you to Allāh and I ask Allāh to protect you. I extend my Salām to you. We believe in Allāh, His messengers, in that which they brought with them, and in that to which they invited and guided (the people). Therefore, include us among those who testify.                          O Allāh! Do not let this be the last time I come to his Ziyārah. If You take my life before I come to his Ziyārah again, then surely I will testify after my death to that which I testified during my life. I testify that you are the Imams – and name the Imams one after another.                             And I testify that those who killed them and those who fought them were polytheists and that those who oppose their words and their knowledge are in the lowest levels of Hell. I testify that those who fought them are our enemies and we dissociate ourselves from them, and that they are the party of Shayťān.               (May) Allāh’s curse, the curse of the angels, and (the curse of) all of the people be upon those who killed them, those who participated in their killing, and those who were pleased with it.                                   O Allāh! After having established prayers and having said Salām (to the Imams (a.s.)), I ask You to send Your Blessing on Muĥammad and his family. Do not let this be the last time I come to his Ziyārah, and if it is, then resurrect me with the mentioned Imams. O Allāh! Humble our hearts toward them through our obedience and sincerity (to them), our love for them, and our support for them .
