 أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَبِی جَمِیلَهَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ مَشَی فِی حَاجَهِ أَخِیهِ الْمُسْلِمِ وَ لَمْ یُنَاصِحْهُ فِیهَا کَانَ کَمَنْ خَانَ اللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَهُ وَ کَانَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ خَصْمَهُ.

1.  Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “One who goes to fulfill a desire  of a  believer  but  does  not try  his  best to  fulfill  his wish, he is like a person who has been dishonest to Allah and His Messenger. Allah will become his enemy.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی إِدْرِیسُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُصَبِّحِ بْنِ هِلْقَامٍ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ أَیُّمَا رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا اسْتَعَانَ بِهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ إِخْوَانِهِ فِی حَاجَهٍ فَلَمْ یُبَالِغْ فِیهَا بِکُلِّ جُهْدِهِ فَقَدْ خَانَ اللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَهُ وَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ قَالَ أَبُو بَصِیرٍ قُلْتُ لِأَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَا تَعْنِی بِقَوْلِکَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ قَالَ مِنْ لَدُنْ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع إِلَی آخِرِهِمْ.

2.  It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “One who among our lovers tries to help a believer but does not make full  effort  in  his  cause,  has  surely  distrusted  Allah,  His Messenger  and  the  believers.”  The  narrator  asked  Imam what    he meant by a believer. Imam (a.s.) replied, “A person who has faith in all Imams from Amirul Momineen (a.s.) to the last Imam (a.s.).”
