 أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُکَیْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ هَارُونَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ یَقُولُ مَنْ تَرَکَ صَلَاهَ الْعَصْرِ غَیْرَ نَاسٍ لَهَا حَتَّی تَفُوتَهُ وَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ [أَهْلَهُ] وَ مَالَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ.

1.  It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “One who delays Asr Prayer so much that he is not able to offer it, the Almighty Allah will bring him without relatives and wealth on the Day of Judgment.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِی الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنْ حَنَانِ بْنِ سَدِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی سَلَّامٍ الْعَبْدِیِّ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَی أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فَقُلْتُ مَا تَقُولُ فِی رَجُلٍ یُؤَخِّرُ صَلَاهَ الْعَصْرِ مُتَعَمِّداً قَالَ یَأْتِی یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ موترا [مَوْتُوراً] أَهْلَهُ وَ مَالَهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاکَ وَ إِنْ کَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّهِ قَالَ وَ إِنْ کَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ وَ مَا مَنْزِلُهُ فِی الْجَنَّهِ قَالَ موترا [مَوْتُوراً] أَهْلَهُ وَ مَالَهُ یَتَضَیَّفُ أَهْلَهَا لَیْسَ لَهُ فِیهَا مَنْزِلٌ.

2. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Muhammad b. Ali al-Kufi from Hanan b. Sadeer from Abi Salam al-’Abdi who said: “Yes, even if he is worthy of Paradise, he will be brought without relatives and wealth on the Day of Judgment.” The narrator asked, “What position will he get in Paradise?” Imam answered, “He will be deprived of relatives and wealth over there also. Such a person will have no house and he will have to stay as a guest in others’ houses in Paradise.”

 وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْکَانَ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ لِی أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع مَا خَدَعُوکَ عَنْ شَیْ ءٍ فَلَا یَخْدَعُونَکَ عَنِ الْعَصْرِ صَلِّهَا وَ الشَّمْسُ صَافِیَهٌ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ الموتر [الْمَوْتُورُ] أَهْلَهُ وَ مَالَهُ مَنْ ضَیَّعَ صَلَاهَ الْعَصْرِ قُلْتُ وَ مَا الموتر [الْمَوْتُورُ] أَهْلَهُ وَ مَالَهُ قَالَ لَا یَکُونُ لَهُ أَهْلٌ وَ لَا مَالٌ فِی الْجَنَّهِ قُلْتُ وَ مَا تَضْیِیعُهَا قَالَ یَدَعُهَا وَ اللَّهِ حَتَّی تَصْفَرَّ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ تَغِیبَ.

3. And from the previous chain from Muhammad b. Ali al-Kufi from Ali b. al-Nu’man from Ibn Muskan from Abi Basir who said: a person who wastes Asr Prayer will be without relatives and wealth.” The narrator asked, “Who is one without relatives and wealth?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “He is one who has neither any relatives nor any wealth in Paradise.” The narrator asked, “What is meant by wasting Salaat?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “It means not offering it during the time between noon and sunset.”
