 حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَسَدِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ مُوسَی الْبَصْرِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَیْمَانُ بْنُ عِیسَی الشَّجَرِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِیلُ عَنْ أَبِی إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی طَالِبٍ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ أَرْوَاحَ الْقَدَرِیَّهِ یُعْرَضُونَ عَلَی النَّارِ غُدُوّاً وَ عَشِیّاً حَتَّی تَقُومَ السَّاعَهُ فَإِذَا قَامَتِ السَّاعَهُ عُذِّبُوا مَعَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ بِأَلْوَانِ الْعَذَابِ فَیَقُولُونَ یَا رَبَّنَا عَذَّبْتَنَا خَاصَّهً وَ تُعَذِّبُنَا عَامَّهً فَیَرُدُّ عَلَیْهِمْ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ. إِنَّا کُلَّ شَیْ ءٍ خَلَقْناهُ بِقَدَرٍ

1. It was narrated to me by Ali b. Ahmad who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ja’far al-Asadi who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Qasim who said it was narrated to me by Ishaq b. Ibrahim al-’Attar who said it was narrated to me by Ali b. Musa al-Basri who said it was narrated to us by Sulayman b. Isa al-Shajari who said it was narrated to us by Israil from Abi Ishaq from al-Harith from Ameer al-Mumineen Ali b. Abi Talib (a.s.) who said: “The souls of Qadiris will be troubled every morning and evening till the Day of Judgment. Different types of chastisements will be sent to them along with those condemned to Hell on the Day of Judgment. They will call out: O God! You gave us specific punishment and now you are punishing us along with hellish people also. They will be told: taste the touch of Hell. Surely We have created everything according to a measure.”29

 حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشِیرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِیسَی الدَّامَغَانِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْبَرْقِیُّ عَنْ یُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ هَذِهِ الْآیَاتِ إِلَّا فِی الْقَدَرِیَّهِ إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِینَ فِی ضَلالٍ وَ سُعُرٍ. یَوْمَ یُسْحَبُونَ فِی النَّارِ عَلی وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ. إِنَّا کُلَّ شَیْ ءٍ خَلَقْناهُ بِقَدَرٍ

2. It was narrated to me by Ali b. Ahmad who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ja’far who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Basheer who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Isa al-Damighani who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Khalid al-Barqi from Yunis b. Abdulrahman from the one the person that narrated to him from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Following verses are revealed only for the Qadiris: “Surely the guilty are in error and distress. On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of Hell. Surely We have created everything according to a measure.”

 حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مَسْلَمَهُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی دَاوُدُ بْنُ سُلَیْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مُوسَی عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص صِنْفَانِ مِنْ أُمَّتِی لَیْسَ لَهُمَا فِی الْإِسْلَامِ نَصِیبٌ الْمُرْجِئَهُ وَ الْقَدَرِیَّهُ.

3.  Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his ancestors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Two types of people from my Ummah have no part in Islam and they are Murjiah and Qadiriya.”

 حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ یَحْیَی عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَبِی أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع یَقُولُ یُحْشَرُ الْمُکَذِّبُونَ بِقَدَرِ اللَّهِ مِنْ قُبُورِهِمْ قَدْ مُسِخُوا قِرَدَهً وَ خَنَازِیرَ.

4.  It is narrated that Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) said, “The people who deny divine predestination will be raised from their graves transmogrified as monkeys and pigs.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ بْنِ أَعْیَنَ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآیَهُ فِی الْقَدَرِیَّهِ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ. إِنَّا کُلَّ شَیْ ءٍ خَلَقْناهُ بِقَدَرٍ

5. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakil who said it was narrated to me by Abdillah b. Ja’far al-Himyari from Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. Abi al-Khattab from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Hisham b. Salim from Zurarah b. A’yan and Muhammad b. Muslim from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: “This verse is revealed regarding Qadiris: “taste the touch of Hell. Surely We have created everything according to a measure.”32

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُوسَی بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ عِمْرَانَ النَّخَعِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ یَزِیدَ النَّوْفَلِیُّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی طَالِبٍ ع قَالَ: یُجَاءُ بِأَصْحَابِ الْبِدَعِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ فَیُرَی الْقَدَرِیَّهُ مِنْ بَیْنِهِمْ کَالشَّامَهِ الْبَیْضَاءِ فِی الثَّوْرِ الْأَسْوَدِ فَیَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مَا أَرَدْتُمْ فَیَقُولُونَ مَا أَرَدْنَا إِلَّا وَجْهَکَ فَیَقُولُ قَدْ أَقَلْتُکُمْ عَثَرَاتِکُمْ وَ غَفَرْتُ لَکُمْ زَلَّاتِکُمْ إِلَّا الْقَدَرِیَّهَ فَإِنَّهُمْ دَخَلُوا فِی الشِّرْکِ مِنْ حَیْثُ لَا یَعْلَمُونَ.

6. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakil who said it was narrated to me by Musa b. Ja’far who said it was narrated to us by Musa b. ’Imran Nakha’i who said it was narrated to me by al-Hussain b. Yazid al-Nawfali from Ismail b. Muslim al-Sakuni from Abi Abdillah Ja’far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers from Ali b. Abi Talib (a.s.) who said: “The people who do innovation (Bid-a’t) will be brought on the Day of Judgment in the same way as black and white bullocks are prominent. Qadiris will in the same way appear prominent among them and Allah, the Mighty and Sublime will ask: What was your intention? They will reply: Our intention was to seek Your pleasure. Allah will say: Your sins are forgiven but of the Qadiris are not. This is so because they committed polytheism in ignorance.”

 وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی طَالِبٍ ع أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَیْهِ مُجَاهِدٌ مَوْلَی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ فَقَالَ یَا أَمِیرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ مَا تَقُولُ فِی کَلَامِ أَهْلِ الْقَدَرِ وَ مَعَهُ جَمَاعَهٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ أَمِیرُ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع مَعَکَ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ فِی الْبَیْتِ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ مَا تَصْنَعُ بِهِمْ یَا أَمِیرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ قَالَ أستتبهم [أَسْتَتِیبُهُمْ] فَإِنْ تَابُوا وَ إِلَّا ضَرَبْتُ أَعْنَاقَهُمْ.

7.  Once  a  group  of  people  were  present  before  Amirul Momineen  (a.s.)  when  the  narrator  asked,  “What  is  your opinion about Qadiriya?” Imam asked, “Is there any Qadiri with you or in this house?” The narrator asked, “What will you  tell  them?”  Imam  (a.s.)  replied,  “I  will  ask  them  to repent and if they do not repent, I will behead them.”

 وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ شُجَاعٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْأَفْطَسِ عَنْ سَعِیدِ بْنِ جُبَیْرٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِیرُ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع مَا خَلَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْقَدَرِیَّهِ إِلَّا خَرَجَ مِنَ الْإِیمَانِ.

8.  Amirul  Momineen  (a.s.)  said,  “A  Qadiri  who  does exaggeration has lost his faith.”

 وَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَاصِمِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الْهَمْدَانِیُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ المحرری [الْعَرْزَمِیِ] عَنْ یَحْیَی بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَمَهَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مَا اللَّیْلُ بِاللَّیْلِ وَ لَا النَّهَارُ بِالنَّهَارِ أَشْبَهَ مِنَ الْمُرْجِئَهِ بِالْیَهُودِ وَ لَا مِنَ الْقَدَرِیَّهِ بِالنَّصْرَانِیَّهِ.

9. And it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakil who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ja’far who said it was narrated to me by Ahmad b. Muhammad al-’Asimi who said it was narrated to me by Ali b. ’Asim al-Hamadani from Muhammad b. Abdulrahman al-Muharari [al-’Arzami] from Yahya b. Salim from Muhammad b. Salamah from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: “There is no night or day but that the Murjiah are becoming like Jews and Qadiriya like Christians.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُوسَی بْنُ عِمْرَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ زَیْدٍ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع قَالَ: لِکُلِّ أُمَّهٍ مَجُوسٌ وَ مَجُوسُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّهِ الَّذِینَ یَقُولُونَ بِالْقَدَرِ.

10. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakil who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ja’far who said it was narrated to me by Musa b. ’Imran who said it was narrated to me by al-Hussain b. Zayd from Ali b. Ismail b. Muslim from Ja’far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers from Ameer al-Mumineen (a.s.) who said: “Magians were present in every Ummah and the Magians of this Ummah are the Qadiriya.”
