 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الشَّامِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ: لَمْ یَقُلْ أَحَدٌ قَطُّ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ یَنَامَ- إِنَّ اللَّهَ یُمْسِکُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ أَنْ تَزُولا وَ لَئِنْ زالَتا إِنْ أَمْسَکَهُما مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ إِنَّهُ کانَ حَلِیماً غَفُوراً فَیَسْقُطَ عَلَیْهِ الْبَیْتُ.

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Muhammad b. Isa from Abbas b. Hilal al-Shami from Abi al-Hassan al-Ridha from his father (a.s.) who said: Imam Ridha (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that one who recites the following verse before going to bed, his house will never be damaged: Innallaaha yumassikus samaawaati wal arz”a antazoolaa wala-in zaalataa in amsakahumaa min ah’adim mim ba’dihi innahu kaanaa h’aleeman ghafooraa.”
